Ephesians 4:25-32

It is A life of honesty
Pseudo – that which masquerades as truth Put away lying = lay it aside

Speak the truth
Because we are a “members only” group
Lies bring pain and confusion to the group

A life of resolved issues
Anger has it’s purpose – to motivate

Anger has it’s dangers
Excessive anger results in sin
This tells us how much we can be angry
“and do not sin”

Extended anger results in satanic attack
This tells us how long we can be angry
“do not let the sun go down”

A life of giving
Quit stealing! “Thou shalt not!”
Start working
“labor” is good for you & results in success
Give generously
The purpose of prosperity is charity

A life of encouragement

Stop corrupt communication
Corrupt = useless / harmful

Start building people up
Edify them – give them the good stuff
Impart grace – good speech is a gift

A life of fellowship
Don’t grieve God with disobedience
Stealing / anger / lying
You were sealed for eternity

A life of kindness
Bitterness – sour condition of the heart
Wrath – verbal explosion of the heart
Anger – physical explosion of the heart
Clamor – outcry of anger
Evil speaking – slanderous words
Malice – the desire to injure

Be kind – a mild response
Tenderhearted – a merciful response
Forgiving – gracious pardon
Our example – as God in Christ forgave
